Who we are

Calm Cars is made by Adrila Playroom, part of Adrila Sweden AB (company reg. no. 559001-7934), Nickes Väg 60, 423 49 Torslanda, Sweden. Contact us at playroom@adrila.com.

The short version

Calm Cars collects no data at all. Nothing the child does in the app leaves the device. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

What the app keeps on the device

The car the child has built (body, paint, stickers and wheels), the track picked last, which locked cars have already been tried, and the settings a grown-up has chosen: sound and music, volume, play time limit, text size and reduced motion. The app also remembers whether the full game has been bought, so it stays unlocked without a network. All of this is kept in one file in the app's own storage and is never sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes the file, and the car can be started over in the parents' corner.

What the app does not do

No accounts, names or email addresses. No ads and no advertising IDs. No analytics, no tracking and no crash reporting to us. The app asks for no camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos. The only link out of the app leads to this page, and it sits behind a parental gate.

Purchases

The app offers one one-time purchase that unlocks the full game. There are no subscriptions and no other purchases. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play under their own privacy policies. The app only receives the store's confirmation that the purchase was made, so the content can be unlocked. We never see names or payment details, only anonymous sales totals. Buying and restoring the purchase both sit behind the parental gate.

Internet access

The app has no internet traffic of its own. On Android it has permission to use the internet only because Google's purchase library needs it, and it is used only when a grown-up buys or restores the full game, or when the app checks with Google Play at start that the purchase is still valid.

Children

Calm Cars is made for children aged 4 to 9. Because the app collects no personal data, children cannot share anything with us through it, and there is nothing for us to ask parental consent for. Contact with us happens through parents.

Your rights

We hold no personal data from the app. If you email us, the privacy policy for our website applies to that conversation: we use your message only to answer you, and you can ask to see or delete it. Write to playroom@adrila.com. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
